2010 will be the 45th running of the Quad Cities Criterium. The fourth oldest criterium in the country, oldest in Illinois, and the longest running sports tradition in the Quad Cities with over 10,000 spectators, annually. The Modern Woodmen Bank Quad Cities Criterium is presented by Modern Woodmen Bank, the Quad Cities Bicycle Club and The District.
Featuring competitive men and women riders from novice to professional, aged 10 to 60+ from all over the United States, reaching speeds over 35 mph. Also included are the Big Wheel and Tricycle races for kids ages 2 to 5, bicycle races for kids ages 6 to 10, as well as a wide variety of foods and activities for families and children, with an expanded area for bicycling related products, memorabilia, culture, and fun.
Sunday events: bicycle rodeo for kids 10AM - 2PM and street sprints 5- 8PM.
